2015 Fibre Arts Festival
Our Fibre Arts Festival (that took place in the main library auditorium at 345 Aylmer Street, on Saturday March 21, 2015), was a wonderful success, and a fun day was had by all who attended.
There were demonstrations and some hands on activities for adults and children.
There were also many beautiful and unique craft items available for purchase, as well as fibre, yarn and supplies for those who want to create their own special items.
Our door prizes were made up of fibre and related items donated by the vendors/demonstrators in attendance.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a special day and to all of the people who attended.
We are looking forward to next year’s festival.
Demonstrations, displays and some hands-on opportunities will be presented by our guilds, fibre artists as well as several vendors. See our attached poster.
An excellent chance to network, get information, look at, and ask about the different arts, or buy unique items, made by the artists!
Once again, we were invited to Lane’s End Farm, to help with (or just watch) the shearing of sheep and goats.
Our 4th annual Fibre Arts Festival was a great success with more people attending than any previous year.
Our visitors thoroughly enjoyed the demonstrations, and the opportunity to have some hands-on experience, such as making embellishment flowers, rug hooking, weaving, paper making and painting on silk.
