The guild participates in a number of community and area activities to generate interest in spinning, weaving and felting.

Workshops and Classes

Classes in Fibre Arts are generally held at the Artisans Centre in Peterborough Square.  They are listed and purchased on the Artisans Centre Website https://www.artisanscentre.ca/fibre-art/

• Artisanity Show and Sale
• For the Love of Art Sale – fundraiser 
• Buckhorn Heritage Day – demos and sale
• Lang Pioneer Village fibre day (alternate years) – demos

Informal small-group gatherings

• Spinners – informal monthly gathering – Spinners meet at 5:30 p.m. before our regular meeting starts
• Weaving study group – members meet to exchange ideas and solve weaving challenges – Weavers also meet at 5:30 p.m. on regular meeting nights
